Growing up a Navy brat & raised by a single mother, I lived in all areas from the "ghetto" to the suburbs. That allowed me to gain friends of all ethnicities, age groups and social classes, which shapes me as a writer. This is why I can create relatable & truthful stories that will resonate with an audience, because I lived it with them, or heard the story of someone who has.
